In short

We are working toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA. If any part of this site or our studio does not work for you, tell us and we will help you do what you were trying to do — you will never need to use our website to be a client here.

Glow by Beauty Avenue is committed to making our website and our studio welcoming and usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is something we work on continually, not a box we check once.

1. Our commitment

We want every client to be able to learn about our services, book an appointment, shop with us, and visit our studio with the same ease. We are working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard widely used to make web content more accessible to people with a range of disabilities.

2. What we do on our website

We work to keep our website accessible through measures such as:

  • Text alternatives for meaningful images
  • Clear heading structure so screen readers can navigate the page
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds
  • Keyboard navigation for links, buttons, and forms
  • Form fields with visible, descriptive labels
  • Responsive layouts that work when text is enlarged or viewed on a phone
  • Descriptive link text rather than "click here"
  • Content written in plain, direct language

We review our site periodically and address accessibility issues as we find them.

3. Known limitations

We want to be honest about where we fall short. Some parts of our website rely on third-party services we do not control, including our online booking system, payment processing, embedded maps, and social media feeds. These may not be fully accessible, and we are limited in what we can change.

If you have difficulty with any part of our site, including these third-party features, please contact us. We will help you complete what you were trying to do, whether that is booking an appointment, placing an order, or getting information.

Older content, such as previously published images or documents, may not yet meet our current standards. We update it as we go.

4. Our studio

Our studio is at 322 E. Main St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624.

If you have questions about physical access, including entry, restrooms, treatment room access, or parking, please contact us before your visit. We will tell you honestly what to expect and do what we reasonably can to accommodate you.

If you need assistance during your visit, would like a companion or care attendant present, use a service animal, or need any adjustment to make your appointment comfortable, let us know when you book. We are glad to help and will handle it discreetly.

5. Alternatives to the website

If our website is not working for you, you can reach us directly. We are happy to:

  • Book your appointment by email or by phone
  • Describe services, pricing, and products
  • Take a product order and arrange payment and delivery
  • Read website content aloud or send it in a different format
  • Answer any question you would otherwise look up on the site

You will never need to use our website to be a client here.

6. Feedback

We welcome your feedback, and we take it seriously. If you encounter a barrier on our website or in our studio, please tell us what happened and where, so we can fix it.

Please include the page address if the issue is on our website, a description of the problem, and the browser or assistive technology you were using, if you know it.

We aim to respond within [3] business days. If an issue cannot be fixed quickly, we will tell you what we are doing about it and offer another way to get what you need in the meantime.

7. Ongoing work

Accessibility is a continuing effort for us. As we update our website, add services, or make changes to our studio, we consider accessibility as part of that work rather than an afterthought. This statement will be updated as our site and our practices change.
